Dragons Fire
2003
Talščak Hill,
Zagreb County
For five days we go to Talaščak hill and build a dragon from yellow and red willow branches that grow along the nearby streams and ponds. We think about the evil that happened to us last year. From time immemorial, our ancestors have been gathering branches, lighting fires and driving away evil. We imagined that we could do the same. On St. George's Day, April 23, 2003, we burned the dragon with the inhabitants of the district village and guests who arrived from the city.

The original Dalmatian Gayeta that "broke the glass" in the gallery "Salon Karas" in Zagreb was placed on the hill Talaščak at the scene of "Field of Life" 1994. We burned it on summer solsticium.

Gallery Salon Karas,

The eight meters long and hundred years old Gajeta (wooden boat) was brought from Dalmatia to Zagreb to brake the front glass of the gallery. A mail figure made of plaster was installed in sitting position in the boat with his eyes bandaged. On the first floor of the gallery a kneeing woman also made of plaster was placed on a rural cart, with her eyes bandaged.
"We broke the membrane and the taboos. People came into the gallery angry, enchanted, curious ... we talked ..."
Experiment Seven Chests for Witten
1996/1997
University Witten/Herdecke,
Witten
Three months action taking place in the main hall and around the University Witten/Herdecke in collaboration with students including the main idea of the University: Freedom, Truth and Responsibility.
Six chests were brought to Witten, one remained in Zagreb. During those three months five were filled with various contents, and one was locked. At the end of semester that chest was opened and filled with two little pigs for a few hours.
At the same time in the beginning of semester earth from the Uni park was brought to the hall and laid out as a field. Wheat was planted on that field, and a human figure made of clay sitting on a chair was installed in the middle of it. Seven spears were stabbed in the clay body. Watering-canes were posted by the field with remark: “Please water”. In eight weeks time the wheat grew up to 80 cm. Around Christmas the sitting figure was transformed into a laying star across the field. At the end of semester the field was cut into pieces and vanished in form of the path from the entrance of the Uni to its exit (cca 120m), and got back to its place in the park.
During the period of three months the hall became an Agora.

Field of Life
1994
Talascak Hill, Zagreb County,
MGC Zagreb
Twelve stone heads placed on twelve old, wooden rural horse-drawn carts were installed on a plugged hillock. After the opening at the hill, in the following days people from nearby villages came daily to the “monuments” as they named them, creating a sort of pilgrimage.
Fourteen days later the Field of Life was transported to the atrium of the former monastery, now the museum Klovićevi dvori, where at the opening twelve singers performed the composition Figura Circulorum, composed by Davorin Kempf for that event.
At the End of Time
1992
Klosterkirche Pfullingen
In the middle of the floor, a white clay figurine is laid. Around it, about 100 little figures make concentric circles that are becoming smaller, finishing in dust. In front of the east wall where in 13th century was the altar of the Church, a marble sculpture is placed.
Through Gothic windows light moves around the room clockwise, and in the end of the day points exactly to the central figurine.
